In darkness, the smallest illumination can serve as a beacon to those stuck in the shadows. A force refusing to be overtaken. Hope when it feels like there is none.
Sometimes the path forward can feel shadowed by the weight of what you’ve experienced. Yet even in the darkest places, light has a way of breaking through. Choosing to seek support is an act of courage—one that reflects strength, not weakness.
Here, you’ll find a respectful and supportive space to process what you’ve been carrying and to move forward with renewed clarity and resilience.
Amy L. Hendricks, LPC
I am the owner of Line of Courage Counseling LLC, a private practice in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for individuals and families of all ages. I have a particular focus on supporting first responders and military service members. I draw upon my own experience in law enforcement, as well as being the spouse of a responder, to understand the unique demands and culture of these communities.
I hold an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and an MS in Emergency Services Administration from California State University Long Beach.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes whole-person wellness — mind, body, and spirit — and I work collaboratively with clients to foster resilience, healing, and lasting growth. I utilize evidence-based methods including EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Adlerian approaches, and play therapy, tailored to each client’s needs.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, religious trauma, or life transitions, I am here to walk alongside you with guidance, support, and understanding.
